Position Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of HVAC service technicians.
- Coordinate and prioritize daily work schedules for the team.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, ensuring continuous improvement and skill development.
- Diagnose and repair complex HVAC system issues, including but not limited to, heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential problems and ensure optimal performance.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices to enhance technical knowledge.
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Communicate effectively to explain technical issues, provide solutions, and offer recommendations for system improvements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service calls, work performed, and parts used.
- Generate service reports and provide detailed information for invoicing purposes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
- Ensure that team members comply with safety regulations and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Essential Skills and Experience:
- At least five (5) years of residential HVAC Service experience and knowledge
- Valid local driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Acceptable criminal background record
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make appropriate decisions
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work synergistically with crew partner(s), also independently and accurately
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
