What you will DO:

  • Operate excavators and other heavy machinery efficiently and safely.
  • Execute excavation tasks according to project specifications and requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, grading surfaces, and digging trenches.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to identify and address potential issues.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
  • Operate excavators with precision to minimize environmental impact and avoid damage to existing structures.
  • Ensure accurate digging depths and alignments as per project specifications.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure smooth project flow.
  • Provide status updates on equipment maintenance and project progress.

 

What you NEED:

 

  • Proficient in the operation and maintenance of excavators and related machinery.
  • Minimum 3 years proven experience as an Excavator Operator
  • Strong knowledge of excavation techniques and safety protocols
  • Must pass a drug screen, MVR & background check
  • Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
  • Physical dexterity
