What you will DO:
- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery efficiently and safely.
- Execute excavation tasks according to project specifications and requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, grading surfaces, and digging trenches.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to identify and address potential issues.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Operate excavators with precision to minimize environmental impact and avoid damage to existing structures.
- Ensure accurate digging depths and alignments as per project specifications.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure smooth project flow.
- Provide status updates on equipment maintenance and project progress.
What you NEED:
- Proficient in the operation and maintenance of excavators and related machinery.
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as an Excavator Operator
- Strong knowledge of excavation techniques and safety protocols
- Must pass a drug screen, MVR & background check
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
- Physical dexterity
